Build your Azimuth

The Azimuth is designed to be as simple — or as useful — as you want it to be.

Start by adding one Cover to your cart. This is the base of your Azimuth.

Then add any Components you'd like to create your own configuration. You can mix and match Components in different leathers, and I'll contact you after your order to confirm the placement and any preferences before I begin making your Azimuth.

Your Cover = the base of your Azimuth
Components = the extras you add to it

Pockets and other Components are sold separately and are not complete notebook covers. They are made specifically to be attached to the Azimuth size shown in this listing.

How to order

1. Choose your leather.
Select the leather you'd like for each Component.

2. Choose your Component.
Start with Cover, then add whichever Components you'd like.

3. Add each Component to your cart.
For example:

• Diesel Toffee Cover

• Lavender Frost Zip Pocket

• Icy Canton  Card Pocket

• Diesel Toffee Straight Pocket

4. We'll confirm the details together.
You don't need to choose a pocket placement when placing your order. Once your order is received, I'll contact you to confirm where you'd like each Component placed and any other preferences.

5. Choose your elastic.
I'll also send you a photo of the elastic colours currently available so we can choose one that suits your Azimuth.

About the photographs

The Azimuth is available in several sizes, and the photographs throughout the listing may show a different size from the one selected.

The size you are purchasing is always the size shown in the product title and Component options, and the dimensions for that size are included with the relevant selection.

As each size is made and new Azimuths find their people, I'll be adding more real-life examples to the collection. So the photographs will continue to grow and show the many different ways an Azimuth can become uniquely yours.

A note about inserts

Inserts and notebooks are not included with your Azimuth.

The Azimuth

At its heart, the Azimuth is a simple leather traveler's notebook cover inspired by the uncomplicated design of the original traveler's notebook.

A single piece of leather forms the cover, with two notebook elastics and a centre-back closure elastic. The result is a clean, flexible cover that gives your notebooks room to become whatever you need them to be.

Make it yours with Components

The Azimuth Components let you add storage exactly where you need it.

Zip Pocket

A folded leather pocket with a zip closure, ideal for keeping small essentials, receipts, cards and other loose items secure.

Card Pocket

A dedicated card-storage pocket made from layered leather.

The number of card slots is sized according to the Azimuth size.

Straight Pocket

A simple open leather pocket for notes, papers, stickers, receipts or anything else you want close at hand.

Secretarial Pocket

A smaller angled pocket for everyday essentials.

The Secretarial Pocket can also be layered onto a Straight Pocket when you want additional storage without taking up another area of your cover.

Mix and match your leathers

Your Azimuth doesn't have to match itself.

Choose one leather for your Cover and completely different leathers for your Components.

Pair Lavender Frost with Icy Canton.
Keep everything in Diesel Toffee.
Or create your own combination.

Natural leather has its own character, so variations in colour, grain and texture are part of what makes each Azimuth unique.

The leathers used for the Azimuth are intentionally soft and supple, giving the cover a relaxed, tactile feel. Photos and videos show the natural drape and character of each leather.

• Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your Azimuth to be made.
