The Cover

This design holds a special place in my heart—it's my all-time favorite, and I find myself coming back to it time and again.

At the front, you'll find a sleek straight pocket alongside a discreet secretarial pocket, complete with a charming little pouch that can serve both practical and decorative purposes. Need more space? There's an additional straight pocket at the back, perfect for storing stickers, receipts, or lists—whatever you need close at hand.

Customization is key! You have the option to include a pen loop at no extra charge—because I understand that preferences vary. Choose between the classic elastic closure, press stud or a magnetic clasp. While the elastic closure allows room for expansion and adding inserts, the magnetic clasp offers a secure, streamlined closure. Go for the rustic vibe or choose burnished/finished edges for a more elegant look and feel.

Once your order is received, I'll reach out to confirm your preferences for the pen loop, closure, and stitching colors, ensuring every detail is just right.

The Leather

For this design I like to use the Tugela, a distinguished offering from a revered South African tannery with over a century of expertise in crafting fine leather. With a steadfast dedication to environmental, societal, and economic consciousness, this leather exemplifies the pinnacle of sustainable luxury.

The Tugela range boasts a remarkable blend of softness and suppleness, delivering a luxurious tactile experience. While providing ample support to maintain its form as a cover, it graciously envelops the contents within, ensuring both style and functionality.

Expect this to develop a rich patina rapidly, as its natural character reveals itself through charming scratch and scuff marks. Enhanced by a unique finishing process, this leather showcases a mesmerizing pull-up effect that gracefully fades over time, adding to its inherent allure.
