Waypoint Prototype Pieces

The Waypoint was born from a very simple moment: a lost Mildliner.

On my desk, I always keep a small rotation of daily tools within reach—pens, markers, sticker sheets, little essentials that never quite belong in a large storage pouch. One day, one of those favourite tools disappeared into the chaos of the workspace.

So I made something smaller. Closer. Easier.

The Waypoint is a slim, vertical stationery pouch designed to live on your desk, move with you through your day, and keep your everyday tools exactly where you expect them to be.

Measuring approximately 13–14 cm wide and 22 cm tall, it is compact enough to sit neatly on a workspace while still holding a surprisingly generous amount of stationery.

Design Options

Waypoint (Open Top)
Designed for quick access and daily use on your desk. No zip, no barrier—just immediate reach.

Waypoint Voyager (Zip Closure)
Designed for movement. The same layout and function, with the added security of a YKK zip closure for travel or carry.

Storage Layout

Both versions feature a layered pocket system designed around real desk habits:

• Two front flat pockets (approx. 14 cm deep) for frequently used items
• One back pocket (approx. 18 cm deep) for sticker sheets, A6 notebooks, and larger flat items
• Fully lined interior with no internal divisions, allowing flexible use depending on your setup

The layout is intentionally simple: no digging, no over-organization—just fast access to what you use most.

Materials

Each Waypoint is made using a combination of washed canvas, waxed canvas, corduroy, and velvet textiles, depending on the colourway.

All pouches are finished with:

• YKK zippers (Voyager only)
• Antique brass D-ring hardware
• Press stud closures and reinforced detailing

Interior linings vary between a soft suede-like finish and velvet lining, chosen to create a warm, tactile “desk companion” feel—especially for the colder months.

Functional Details

A 2 cm D-ring is placed on the side for keys, charms, wristlets etc.

A signature leather strap runs across the body of the pouch, designed to hold items such as washi tape rolls or small tools depending on the version. On Voyager models, this strap is repositioned horizontally and anchored to a reinforced leather panel featuring the logo.

What It Holds

The Waypoint is designed around your everyday essentials:
pens, markers, brush pens, sticker sheets, and small notebooks. It comfortably fits taller tools such as Tombow brush pens while keeping everything compact and contained.

It is not a storage system for everything you own. It is a home for what you reach for most.

A Note on This Release

These Waypoints are part of an early production run as the design evolves and refines. Each piece is fully functional, made with quality materials, and individually crafted. Small variations and handmade characteristics may be present.

Rather than waiting for “perfect,” this release marks the beginning of the Waypoint journey.
